BRONZE COURSE – SUMMER 2026
Join us this February at Cabarita Beach SLSC for our Bronze Medallion course. You’ll become a qualified surf life saver, learn the skills to support patrols and water safety activities, and experience what it’s like to be part of a Surf Club community. Start: Thursday February 19
Course duration: Approx six weeks.
Training sessions: Thursdays 6pm to 8pm and Sundays 8am to 11am.
Cost: $100 (Refunded upon completion of patrols).
To commence training for the Bronze Medallion, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a current financial member of Cabarita Beach Surf Life Saving club
- Be at least 15 years of age on the final assessment date
- Successfully complete an unaided 400m swim in 9 minutes or less (goggles and masks permitted). The swim will be completed in a 25m pool. This will be conducted as a group on 15th Feb 2026.
